An institutional agreement was signed on the 17th at the Haessal Culture Campus between the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), SPACEPRO (formerly Hankuk Fiber), Hankuk Carbon, and Miryang City to promote the nano-fusion composite materials industry and foster local businesses.

The main contents of the agreement include: safety and reliability testing and evaluation of nano-fusion composite materials; joint research and development (R&D) and response to certifications and standards; establishing testing and certification infrastructure within the Nano-Fusion Industrial Complex; and supporting the activation of local industries and businesses.

The city is currently promoting the construction of a Nano Material/Product Safety Evaluation Support Center, aiming for its opening in early 2026.

Miryang City plans to support the technological development and commercialization of local businesses by utilizing the excellent testing and evaluation capabilities of KCL, the lead institution.
