Manufacturing and Development of the Nuri Rocket Payload FairingThe key companies responsible for the 4th launch of the Nuri rocket are heavy industry firms located in Gyeongnam, Ulsan, and Busan. According to the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) on the 27th, approximately 300 companies contributed around 370,000 components to the Nuri rocket's 4th launch.The overall system integration for the Korean launch vehicle, Nuri, was handled by Hanwha Aerospace, which is headquartered in Changwon, Gyeongnam. A total of six engines are mounted on the Nuri rocket.Hanwha Aerospace took charge of the Nuri rocket's overall manufacturing after receiving technology transfer from the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), and also participated in the launch operations.The development agency for the main payload of the 4th Nuri launch, the Next-Generation Medium-Sized Satellite 3, is Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), headquartered in Sacheon, Gyeongnam.
